It gives me immense pleasure joining this prestigious institution on 12th December, 2012 as the head of the institution. The strategic location of the college in the historic city of Bharatpur on the Agra-Jaipur highway with sprawling campus of 16.77 hectares adds feathers to it.

Quality education is necessary to build the world. It is possible only when the academic activities are given utmost attention. With this in mind, I have taken up many initiatives to create the environment of better teaching and learning . In due course of time, I plan to induct more staff and build more infrastructure. My endeavour shall be to introduce many more programs in this college in times to come.

At present there are six engineering and one management department in this institution. The efforts shall be focused on all round development of the students. In addition to academic curriculum, students shall be engaged in sports, workshops, quizzes, group discussions etc. to bring them at par with the students of premier institutions of the country.

Today, most of the engineering graduates coming out from various colleges are unemployable due to lack of adequate subject knowledge and professional attitude. Higher education system of our country needs to be revamped and reoriented towards greater employability. This can be achieved with need based academic curriculum, additional knowledge through parallel certificate programs and participation of students in various other extracurricular activities.

Our college is in a developing stage. Each one of us needs to put in efforts to the best of our capabilities, leaving behind personal interests, differences (if any) keeping a single point programme of taking the institution forward to enable it to be included in the list of best institutions of the country. We can then ensure quality education.

We have so many good things already existing, thanks to the previous principals of this college. We have good labs, class rooms, offices, sports facilities, financial autonomy, broadband internet connectivity, intelligent students and dedicated faculty and staff. We need to recognize our strength and create an aptitude to use all our available facilities sincerely and ethically. I wish that my students should be trained and developed in such a way that they are not suitable only for taking-up jobs but also be capable of providing jobs.

The sphere of knowledge is very vast. Nobody is perfect. Hence, you need not feel shy on this account. You only need to strive hard to do your best. As it is rightly said:
"Practice as if you are the worst, perform as if you are the best".
