Unfair Means and Disorderly Conduct in Examination and Award of Punishment
Unfair means and disorderly conduct in examination includes: False representation, verbal/written communication in or outside examination hall, copying material written on paper/body parts/clothes/others, destroying evidence of unfair means, impersonation, using abusive language/making request for favour in answer book/trying to please the examiner, tampering with records of examination, cheating or attempting to cheat the university in any manner, disobeying the instructions, threatening/intimidating/assaulting/misbehaving with the staff before, during or after the examination hours, leaving examination room without permission, tearing off or mutilating an answer book, disturbing or disrupting the conduct of examination, boycotting/provoking to boycott examination, bringing any weapon, appearing in examination without admit card and identify card, obstructing or hindering search etc.
Award of punishment includes: Cancellation of paper in which he is found involved in unfair acts/cancellation of all papers in that semester examination/debarring for admission in higher class or from appearing in any examination for a period of two to four years.
